About Jeremy Bloom, Internet Farmer

Jeremy picking apples that were tiny but sweet and incredible.

Hi, I’m Jeremy, a lifelong tech enthusiast, creative problem solver, and someone who believes in the power of good food, good work, and good people.

My journey started with a blinking Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers tongue on a green-screen computer when I was eight years old. That moment sparked a lifelong love of technology and creativity. From those pixelated beginnings, I went on to become a Website Producer in the early days of the internet, working with startups and established businesses alike to bring their online visions to life.

But life isn’t a straight line.

After moving to Maine in 2004 and experiencing the 2008 market crash, I found myself drawn to something very different: farming. I didn’t know a rutabaga from a radish, but I knew I wanted to reconnect with the land, with food, and with a more grounded way of living. Farming taught me resilience, patience, and the value of physical work – lessons I carry into my tech work today.

Over the years, I’ve worn many hats: chef, fermenter, farmer, guide, and always, a student of e-commerce and digital tools. I’ve helped small farms, artisans, and mission-driven businesses get online and thrive. I believe technology should serve people, not the other way around.

Now, in 2025, I’ve returned full-time to Internet Farmer. My way of blending all these passions into a simple offering is through my monthly Website Care Plans, I partner with clients to remove the stress of managing websites and online systems. You focus on your work, and I’ll handle the tech — with care, clarity, and a little bit of geeky joy.

When I am not working

You’ll find me outside – in the garden, on the water, or exploring Maine’s food scene. I love fermenting funky things in glass jars, cooking with local ingredients, and finding peace in nature. I meditate, I bike, I read, I watch shows and movies and I try to live lightly on this earth.

Helping people succeed while staying true to their values is what lights me up. If that sounds like something you’re looking for, I’d love to connect.
